Economics

Argentina is not only one of the larger countries in South America, but also one of the most economically powerful in the region. Argentina produces more grain than any other country in Latin America, and is second for cattle raising, just a little bit behind Brazil. In all Argentina is considered as a global beef production, and as a global agricultural export. Argentina is also the second largest tourist attraction country in South America. Argentina also has the Gross National Product (GNP) which is one of the highest in the region. Even though there are a lot of good things economically about this country, there are also some negative aspects. For example during the 20th century there was a lot of high inflation and unemployment. As well as a financial crisis in the early 21st century. As for the population fax of Argentina the current population is 46,994,384, and the population density is very good with 17 people for every kilometer. However even though Argentina has a pretty large GDP in Latin America, especially to bordering countries like Uruguay and PAraguay of $27,100 (2023 est.) due to the country's liability in the past it isn’t exactly considered “good”. Even though Argentina is a great agricultural country and three major exports are soybean meal, corn, and soybean oil, it lacks metal and gas resources. That is why three major imports are refined petroleum, vehicle parts/accessories, and natural gas. One of the most popular Argentine made brands is Mercado Libre which is an online marketplace that is dedicated to e-commerce. MercadoLibre has its headquarters in Uruguay Montevideo. To conclude, Argentina is a country with a strong economy compared to others in the region even though it has lacked some liabilities in the past.
